I want to start off by saying thank you for letting me serve you as your 2010-2011 Section Secretary. I learned a lot the past few months filling in for the remainder of last year, and I am already planning on a better year.

My big goal for this year is to create a production team which will act like the OA National Bulletin staff. This production team will include a range of writers and editors who will help put together the newsletter both before and during Conclave. If you are interested in helping, please email me!

When it comes to communication, I'm planning on having quarterly phone conferences with each lodge. This will allow me to inform the lodge leadership of any important information. One of the key ways to communicate is through the phone, and hopefully this will better our communication as a section.

I hope everyone had a great Conclave and I am looking forward to working Talligewi Lodge as they host the 2011 Conclave at Camp Crooked Creek. Be sure to also mark your calendars for the Section Leadership Seminar November 5th through the 7th at Camp Boxwell. This event will include the COC meeting and a variety of other activities.
